Steffan Dale – Campaign Engagement Manager 

What is your role at Delineate?

I work closely with clients across Eastern time zones, to manage the tracking of campaigns in a timely manner and ensure they benefit from our service as much as possible. I also support our team internally with technical development of the platform used to manage the client requests and campaign calendar.

What were you doing prior to working at Delineate?

Finishing my postgraduate degree in Social and Public Policy at Cardiff University. I then came back to Llandysul where I was offered a role with Delineate.

What makes Delineate different from other places you have worked?

Delineate provides continuous opportunities for growth within the company, allowing you to move between teams and learn new skills while also developing those you have already gained.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy being able to speak with key client stakeholders and see where my work is being implemented to support them. It is also amazing that I’m able to speak with people from all over the world.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day largely focusses on client communication with multiple markets to ensure we are meeting deadlines. I work with our internal team to process requests and manage the calendar so that it reflects campaign timelines. Once client tasks are completed, I turn attention to any technical requests that need to be worked on, working with our engineering team to develop our client facing platforms.

What excites you about your work?

I have been able to move across teams, from being a Junior Project Manager to now being client facing as a Campaign Engagement Manager. I really enjoy that I’ve been able to use the skills I’ve learned as a Junior PM to work outside of my CEM job role.

What is the most valuable thing you have learned at Delineate?

I’ve learned that it’s important to be proud of the work you’re doing, and to always challenge yourself to accomplish more. Self-development has become a key outcome for me while working for Delineate, and I feel like it is possible within this company.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy playing rugby for the local side and spend a lot of time socialising when I can. I’m also a keen home cook, so I like to experiment with new dishes, especially Pan-Asian cuisine.
